What bothers me is content of executive orders

John DeCoster's letter is a good example of the Democrats' habit of setting up a straw man to knock down. Let me use an analogy to explain.

A guy keeps lions in his backyard. The neighbors complain. Along comes someone like Decoster who counts the number of dogs and cats in the neighborhood and says, "Everyone keeps pets."

It is not the number of executive orders by President Barack Obama that bother people. It is their content. Obama bypasses Congress and takes upon himself the role of the legislature. This is unconstitutional. The proper roles of the legislature, the executive and the judiciary were written into the Constitution to prevent this abuse of power.

If the republic is to survive, Obama's power grabs must be stopped.
