Hillary Clinton's response at the recent Senate hearing to the question of the administration's deceit about the attack in Benghazi — "What difference does it make?" — should be the maxim applied to all liberal actions. Here are a few examples:
Remember how the left dismissed as irrelevant Bill Clinton's affair with a young intern and his subsequent lying under oath to cover it up?
How about the liberal justification of making life-and-death decisions based on age once socialized medicine kicks in?
Or consider then-Sen. Obama's vote against keeping alive babies who survive botched abortions. The progressive rationale being that since the fetus was targeted before birth, why not follow through if it inadvertently comes to term?
So how then shall we live? Traditional American principles say we should follow moral guidelines based on objective truth. Liberals say, "What difference does it make?"
