Regarding the Sept. 13 article, "Pols not Stranded in the Philippines," I see this as a really poor choice of a phishing attempt. Really, who in their right mind would send money to get a politician back?

Now, if they had asked for money to keep them there forever, I'd have probably contributed right away.

And, state Rep. Shelli VenDenburgh is so ignorant she clicked on an email link to upgrade services? Anyone that gullible should be removed from public office for terminal stupidity.
