I totally agree with state Sen. Rich Tomes about columnist Rich James. He has been a writer for far too long.

In this time he has blasted every NRA statement along with all other pro-gun organizations that have made sensible statements on gun control without beating down the Second Amendment.

His last column put the topping on the cake when he used the word "poppycock." When has anyone heard that word used in a sentence in the last 20 years?

It's a British word that was used when they tried to take over America before we declared our independence.
