Whose interests are served by this administration?

Someone should remind President Barack Obama that Congress was duly elected just as he was. The actions of Congress carry just as much popular support as his attempts to ignore Congress.

Notwithstanding the exaggerated reports of public outrage and divisions within the Republican Party, many of us support Congress' actions opposing expansion of government, government spending and the number of government employees.

In fact, the only people I have heard complain about the government shutdown are those who receive income from the government. And I'm not talking about Social Security recipients or welfare cases. The battle being waged is by and for those of us who put more money into the U.S. Treasury than we take out versus the looters and thieves who do the opposite.

Whose interests are being served by this administration? Those whose livelihood depends on the progressive/liberal agenda and whose votes are purchased accordingly.
