Whose interests would GOP insiders promote?

With great amusement I read the latest idea from the Indiana GOP. The brilliant Republican state's attorney wants to eliminate the 17th Amendment when it comes to primary voting for your (GOP fans at least) U.S. Senate candidates.

Why sure, just let the GOP insiders name the Senate candidates for the voters. I'm sure money from the Koch brothers and shady Sandy Adelson would never try to buy more influence in this type of election, would they? And exactly whose interests do you think the Koch brothers would promote? The middle class? Not likely. More likely the very top earners in the United States. Not even necessarily, the top earners in Indiana.

I get a kick out of all the paranoid letters about fictitious people coming to take away yours guns, but you probably don't care about taking your right to vote. I guess that type of thinking comes with listening to far too much Fox News. Who do you think backs them? Yep, Koch brothers and guys like Adelson.
