After 130 years the new administration at Purdue University has decided to bring in a new private legal counsel replacing a Lafayette law firm!

It appears that this new counsel has a strong tie to the new president of Purdue. Which brings up a question about the ties that Steve Schultz has to Mitch Daniels, the new president of Purdue. Explain why this change was necessary and why a legal counsel from Daniels' previous political position seems to have gotten this position without approval or input from university board members.
