Why is Romney's wealth an issue in campaign?

Yes, Mitt Romney is rich. So what? He earned his money legitimately, has paid the high corporate tax on it, and now pays more through the tax levied on interest income.

Romney gave an average of 16 percent of his income to charity; the Obamas gave 5 percent during the same period and only 1 percent from 2000 to 2004. Have the media reported this? Of course not.

It might surprise you to know that many of those who talk the compassionate talk don't always walk the compassionate walk.

So why is Romney's wealth an issue when some of Obama's filthy rich cronies seem to always get a pass?
