I finally decided to go check out the Popcorn Fest, after not going for the past few years. I took my chocolate lab who, by the way, behaves better then most people's children in public.
After I passed many police officers who said nothing to me, I was having a conversation with a family member and was approached by an officer from across the street that i had to leave because dogs were not allowed. No where did i see or hear anywhere that dogs would not be allowed uptown. how is it possible to have the rule for only one day out of the year?
I saw many people with dogs up there. Needless to say, Valparaiso's Popcorn Fest did not get any of my money.
