Without federal stimulus, U.S. would be in depression

Bob Stiener from Crown Point needs to turn off Fox News. When Bill Clinton left office, there was a surplus.

Bob's statement was when he came to office there was a $6 trillion deficit. Let's see who was president before him? Oh, yes, George H.W. Bush. The House was controlled by Republicans who worked with Clinton. Let's see, the House is controlled by Republicans today who won't work with Obama.

Also, subprime mortgages came about from deregulation of banks. We all know the GOP is at fault for deregulations of banks. President Barack Obama wanted more regulation of banks in his first term, but Republicans said no.

If Obama had not added to the Bushes' deficits, we would have been in a depression. Obama won, people know what happened, Stiener is being lied to. Turn the channel.
