Write congressman to fight unintended consequences

The Oct. 17 article on green jobs is misleading. There is a prominent picture of Bill Keith from Sunrise Solar.

He had a great American product, with one exception. The small solar panels that actually produce the electricity to run the roof fan, which were once produced in the United States, were produced in China. No U.S. company wanted to make the small panels anymore. He tried. They were once made here along with all the other components.

Then, in a misguided effort to keep manufacturing jobs here, the Obama regime slapped a 250 percent retroactive tax on those panels made in China.

Jobs might be lost here in Indiana because of a decision made in Washington. Perhaps the only law the Obama passes is the law of unintended consequences.

Write your congressman. Perhaps these jobs can be saved.
