The Indiana State Police Lafayette post reports a major crash involving at least one semi that caught fire near mile marker 174 on northbound Interstate 65.

Reports suggest at least one person was injured.

I-65 southbound opened shortly after 7 p.m. while crews work in the area between Ind. 26 and Ind. 25, according to authorities.

The Journal & Courier reports between 20 and 30 vehicles were involved in the crash. The northbound lanes remained closed, authorities said.
