PDF: State letter inviting Pew to study Indiana corrections

In January, Gov. Mitch Daniels, Chief Justice Randall Shepard, Attorney General Greg Zoeller and legislative leaders sent this letter inviting the Pew Center on the States to study Indiana's corrections system. Pew and The Council of State Governments will now study Indiana's prison sentencing system and report by December ways to change the system that could save the state money.
