Microtea

What is microtea?

Native to the coastal nation of Suriname"south of the border," microtea debilis is also known as weak jumby pepper. This tiny plant wields a big stick in addressing the needs of persons suffering from kidney conditions.

What does it do?

Microtea is prized for its ability to help those who suffer from renal failure. It is specifically able to address problems introduced by proteinuria, which is the appearance of protein in the urine. This herb also contains cirsimarin, the plant flavinoid that triggers lipid mobilization. By stimulating the breakdown of fats (lypolysis) and sparing the utilization of stored glycogen, microtea aids in the performance levels of athletes and persons engaged in moderate physical activity. This humble herb boasts a lipolytic level 20 times higher than caffeine, often leaving its devotees feeling energized.

About the herb

A small annual plant that can appear shrubby at its base, microtea enjoys a unique place in the herbal folklore of coastal states in northeastern South America.

Recommended dosage

Add a teaspoon of dried microtea to a cup of boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. Strain and enjoy 3 or 4 cups daily to increase your energy level.
