Start in an athletic position. Keep one leg straight and slide the foot away from your body as far as possible. While sliding the foot out, begin squatting with the stationary leg. With the hips back, chest up, and a strong back. Then reverse the motion by sliding the outside foot back to center and pressing through the stationary foot to return to a standing position.
