Strengthen While Stretching

To increase flexibility, rebalance the body, relieve pain and reduce scar tissue in joints and muscles, this gentle class will provide a safe, low-impact workout that is respectful to the body. While the class is free, donations will be accepted to support the LaPorte Park and Recreation Department’s Youth Scholarship Program.

This program begins with a brief indoor program on winter and the use of snowshoes before a ranger-led snowshoe hike through the fields and woods surrounding the center. Snowshoes will be provided if needed, but a limited number are available. If there is not enough snow, a nature hike will be offered instead.
