Sand Creek Country Club is pleased to announce that Indiana native Kyle Lundy has been selected as Sand Creek Country Club's new Director of Golf Operations. Kyle Lundy joins Sand Creek from Kokomo and Harrison Lake Country Clubs where he held the position of Head Golf Professional.

"We utilized our network within the PGA of America by executing a swift but concentrated search to recruit the highest quality candidate for the position", said General Manager, Mike Misheck. "Our goal after the notice of Clayton Friend's resignation was to have the new Director of Golf in place no later than May 1st. There was a strong interest among the regional community of PGA Professionals for this position, and we feel very lucky to have Kyle Lundy as our new Director of Golf.

"Kyle is an accomplished golf instructor, promoter of golf, player, merchandiser, and leader. He has a track record of success for providing the best member and guest services at each club which he has been affiliated. Kyle has a high level of energy and enthusiasm for his profession, and I personally look forward to working with him", said Misheck.

Kyle graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management. Kyle is a Class A Member of the PGA of America, and has worked at several fine private country clubs in the state of Indiana. Kyle earned a very prestigious award in 2009 as the Indiana PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year while working at the Fort Wayne Country Club.

"Serving as the Director of Golf Operations at Sand Creek Country Club is an opportunity of a lifetime. My family and I are greatly looking forward to building lifelong relationships with the members of Sand Creek Country Club and the Duneland community. Along with the fantastic staff that is already in place, I plan to continue to strive for excellence in our golf operation and will do my best to keep Sand Creek Country Club at the top of the list when mentioning the best clubs in the Midwest," said Kyle Lundy.

Kyle, wife Elisa and their three year old son Kane, will be moving to the Duneland area sometime in April.
