Visitors to this exhibit can explore the history of the Century of Progress homes from the Chicago World’s Fair and get a taste of life in the 1930s.

In celebration of the golden age of music and radio, this event honors the big band-era legends like Glenn Miller and the radio’s most famous programs—including the Jack Benny Show and others—with trivia, songs, and memories.

An exciting and scary selection of movie, pop and light classical music played by a costumed symphony, orchestra, chorus and maestro will fill the Star Plaza Theatre for a night of fun for the whole family.

This class offers a tour of the Health Insurance Marketplace at and provides assistance with setting up an account and getting started searching for health insurance. OCT 26 Car Cruise Night, 5-9:30pm, Thomas Centennial Park, 2nd & Broadway, Chesterton. Cars of all kinds—vintage, sport, muscle and foreign—are on display during the last cruise night of the season.

Presented live on screen from the Metropolitan Opera, Shostakovich’s opera features Paulo Scot in a reprisal of his acclaimed performance of a bureaucrat whose satirical misadventures in search of his missing nose are based on Gogol’s comic story. OCT 26 Trick or Treat Trio at Abderdeen, 10am, The Course at Aberdeen, 245 Tower Rd, Valparaiso. 219.462.5050. During this three-person scramble, each hole will be transformed into a “trick” or “treat,” with far more tricks that treats. Golfs will have to either tee off from the opposite side of the ball (a trick) or from the forward tee (a treat). Lunch and drinks follow.
