Alexa Claire Boutique and Tux Shop, formally known as The Tux Shop, donated 35 gowns from Claire Fetters’ previous private label collection to national and local charities. The gowns were original designed by Claire Fetters and retail valued at over $20,000. They went to the following charities:

  • The Bridal Garden (New York City, NY);
    [Consignment store whose proceeds go toward education for inner city children.]
  • Brides Against Breast Cancer (Sarasota, FL);
    [Nonprofit whose proceeds go to programs for cancer patients and their families.]
  • The Brides Project (Ann Arbor, MI);
    [Nonprofit whose proceeds go to the Cancer Support Community of Ann Arbor.]
  • Goodwill Stores (Benton Harbor, MI);
    [Nationwide thrift stores that provide goods and employment opportunities.]

The charities were hand-picked by Claire Fetters, who is an advocate of both education and cancer support.

Alexa Claire Boutique and Tux Shop continue to celebrate weddings and social events from their St. Joseph location. This year, the family owned and operated business is celebrating their 40th anniversary.
