Shore Bride periodically features local engaged couples in our “Beginnings” video series. These beautiful videos, shot in a documentary style by world-class videographer Jason Monroe of Studio This Is, tell the story of how a couple met and got engaged, and what they’re planning for their wedding day. It’s a wonderful keepsake to hold onto for years down the road.
We are looking for our next “Beginnings” couple! If you’re interested in being featured, all you have to do is tell us in 200 words or less why you should be selected. Submissions must include bride and groom name, phone number, email address and town of residence. Entries must be mailed to Julia.Huisman@nwi.com no later than Thursday, February 17. Subject line must read “Beginnings Contest Entry.”
All contest entrants will receive two complimentary tickets to the Times/Shore Bride bridal show on Sunday, February 20 at the Radisson in Merrillville. The grand prize winner will spend a day with videographer Jason Monroe, shooting video at locations that hold significance to the couple. Couple must be willing to be interviewed, telling the story of how they met, got engaged, and what they’re planning for their wedding day. Video will be posted at shorebrideonline.com. Couple will receive a complimentary DVD of the video once completed.
