Starcast: July Part 1
July 11, 2014 9:00 am  •

Editor's Note: Fran Smith is off this week, but we are re-running a Starcast from March because it predicts the changes in the planetary influences that are coming to fruition for the week beginning July 13, 2014.

Welcome to “Starcast” – an amazing look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. There’s no doubt about it. Our solar system is magnificent and unrelenting in its forward motion – truly one of the most compelling entities in the entire Universe. To this point, let’s focus on the anticipated arrival of the planet, Jupiter (signifying abundance, luxury, ease, and good fortune; namely, Lady Luck), in the glamorous sun-sign of Cancer, the Crab, last June 25, 2013 at 9:42 p.m. (ET). And here, its sumptuous sojourn will continue until Wednesday, July 16, 2014 – when it leaves and enters the center-stage sun-sign of Leo, the Lion (absolutely, a “Starcast” for another time).

This isn’t trivial. This is your Life – every second of it. Because whichever one of the 12 sun-signs you are, this powerful and ongoing planetary activity affects you directly, since the strong and resourceful Cancer governs one of the twelve houses within your birth chart (also known as the zodiac wheel). And the remarkable journey of the planet, Jupiter (forever, Lady Luck), through Cancer will include the emergence of “good fortune and delight developments” that only you will know what to do with. With Jupiter in Cancer, the Crab, there’s the promise of protection, direct action, and an unwavering desire to advance all manner of mental, emotional, and material goals. High drama dominates – plus! the reality that Cancer (the human being), ruled by the Moon (the subconscious mind), remembers simply everything.

Starcast: June Part 2

Starcast: June Part 2
June 27, 2014 9:00 am  •

Welcome to “Starcast” – an absorbing look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. One of those interesting cycles in our solar system occurs today – the Sun entered the stunning sun-sign of Cancer, the Crab, last Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 5:52 a.m. (ET) – and a week later, the New Moon (when the Sun and the Moon are in perfect alignment within the same sun-sign, signifying “dazzling new starts”) occurs in Cancer, the Crab, today, Friday, June 27, 2014 at 3:09 a.m. (ET). And all of this ongoing, not-to-be-stopped activity has a direct effect on everyone. It matters, not in the least, where you exist on Earth. You’re part of it all.

And here’s why: Everyone (remember, no one is excluded) has the captivating sun-sign of Cancer, the Crab, ruling one of the twelve houses within their own birth chart. So, everyone is influenced – in a very personal way – by whatever planetary activity occurs with this particular sun-sign. Therefore, when the New Moon (which is always very good) takes place in the protective, tough, and glamorous sun-sign of Cancer, the Crab, today, Friday, June 27, 2014 at 3:09 a.m. (ET) – it creates a superb force field that unfolds favorably over the 10 to 12 days that follow. In fact, this singular New Moon promises to exude its own remarkable qualities; namely, the essence of incredible protection, a strong defensive action, and an unrelenting desire and intent to advance its own emotional and material life, regardless of the opposition.

Now, think of a numerical (1 through 12) clock or wristwatch. That’s the zodiac wheel – that’s your birth chart. And each pie-shaped wedge (5 to 4 o’clock, for example) is a house, an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your day-to-day world, one of which Cancer, the Crab, governs in your birth chart. Know, too, that this influence (the New Moon in Cancer) exists and moves forward – 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It never stops.

Welcome to “Starcast” – an incredible look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. On Earth (where human beings live), there’s always so much going on – who has the time to worry (or wonder, for that matter) about what’s taking place in our solar system? Just a few. Nonetheless, what actually takes place – like the planet, Mars (raw energy) now in Libra, the Balancing Scales – does influence each of us. And it’s all dial-adjusted to fit our individual sun-sign. Here’s how it works: Whatever your sun-sign, this powerful planet placement (Mars in Libra) affects you directly – because Libra governs one of the twelve houses within your birth chart (also known as the zodiac wheel).

In your mind’s eye, scroll back to last Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 12:41 p.m. (ET). That’s when Mars entered the charming sun-sign of Libra, the Balancing Scales – and will be traveling through there until Friday, July 25, 2014 at 9:25 a.m. (ET) – when it leaves and enters the no-nonsense sun-sign of Scorpio, the Scorpion (definitely, a “Starcast” for another time). Ruled by the powerful planet, Venus (love, close relationships, and creativity), Libra is engaging, yet strangely fearless. This is an invaluable time during which you’re energized to change things for the better, to move situations forward; and possibly, to place outside of your Life whatever and whomever is holding you back. Pace yourself – mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, and spiritually. And keep your thoughts, optimistic; your actions, strong and subtle.

Look at a numerical (1 through 12) clock or wristwatch. That’s the zodiac wheel – that’s your birth chart. And each pie-shaped wedge (7 to 6 o’clock, for example) is a house, an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your existence, one of which Libra, the Balancing Scales, governs in your birth chart. Now, know that this influence (Mars in Libra) now energizes your thoughts and actions. Still, don’t discuss this divine and ongoing activity with anyone. It’s all the more powerful for being kept hidden.

Welcome to “Starcast” – an amazing look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. This is one of those complex cycles in our solar system when the Sun enters the next sun-sign at one point – and days later, the New Moon occurs in the same sun-sign. Case-in-point: Earlier this week, on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 9:59 p.m., the Sun entered the vivacious sun-sign of Gemini, the Twins. And the New Moon (when the Sun and the Moon are in perfect alignment, signifying radiant new starts), will take place next week, Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 1:40 p.m., in the same mischievous and forever-young Gemini, the Twins. And all this unrelenting activity has a direct effect on everyone. It matters, not in the least, where you exist on Earth.

And here’s why: Everyone (remember, no one is excluded) has the delightful, playful, and dynamic sun-sign of Gemini, the Twins, ruling one of the twelve houses within their own birth chart. So, everyone is influenced – in a very personal way – by whatever planetary activity occurs within this particular sun-sign. And the upcoming New Moon next week (which unfolds beautifully over the 12 to 14 days that follow)

will supply the perfect time frame in which to initiate new ideas, new concepts, new plans, new projects; certainly, new relationships. The prescription for success is a simple one: Focus – with ease and steadiness – on the idea, the concept, the plan, the project, and/or the relationship. With simplicity of thought and action, do whatever needs to be done. Wait. Repeat, if necessary. Adjust, if needed.

Starcast: May Part 1

Starcast: May Part 1
May 09, 2014 9:00 am  •

Welcome to "Starcast"—a fascinating look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun signs. Even very young school children, barely out of Pre-K, know and understand that our solar system has the most active—and the most dynamic—of all travel schedules. Look, for example, at the way in which the planet Pluto (slow-moving transformation) slipped effortlessly from one sun sign—the brilliant and adventure-seeking Sagittarius, the Centaur (half human/half horse)—into the next, the conservative and resourceful Capricorn, the Mountain Goat (forever climbing up the narrow mountain ledge toward success), last November 26, 2008—for approximately 14 years! That's amazing, as Pluto in Capricorn now makes its way forward until November 19, 20204—except for a brief stint back and forth through Aquarius, the Water Bearer (pouring the Waters of Truth on humankind), from January 20 to September 1, 20204—before finally leaving Capricorn for Aquarius on November 19, 2024 (absolutely a "Starcast" for another time).

Noteworthy: Pluto (co-ruler with the planet, Mars—raw energy—of Scorpio, the Scorpion) originally entered Capricorn on January 24, 2008 (there was a spin back and forth through Sagittarius—where Pluto had been for 14 years prior), and now creates the incredible effect of Pluto's concentrated and life-changing energy gliding forward through whatever house (there are 12) that Capricorn governs in your birth chart.

In your mind's eye, see a numerical (1 through 12) clock. That's your own birth chart. And each pie-shaped wedge (5 to 4 o'clock, for example) is a house, an area of activity (love, money—in every currency imaginable—work, and so on) in your daily existence, one of which Capricorn rules in your birth chart. Now, know that this influence (Pluto in Capricorn) arrives amid vivid circumstances to teach you about ongoing change. The result: a new way of thinking, of being, of handling your life. It's pure transformation—no matter who you are or where you are.

Welcome to “Starcast” – a remarkable look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. Always an exquisite event to be in awe of, a New Moon (new starts) occurs every month throughout the year. That’s predictable. What isn’t predictable is the stunning difference between each and every New Moon. And their incredibly different time schedules.

This approaching New Moon is a classic example. Just last Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:56 p.m. (ET), the Sun (personal endeavors), left the impetuous sun-sign of Aries, the Ram, and entered the deliberate and detail-minded sun-sign of Taurus, the Bull. That’s wonderful, because everyone, worldwide, has Taurus ruling one of the 12 houses within their own birth chart. No one is excluded. The result: Everyone is directly affected by whatever planetary activity is taking place in this particular

sun-sign. It’s one of the primary reasons that your Life – and everything in it – has the chance to rearrange itself – and move forward.

Welcome to “Starcast”—an amazing look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. This is huge! We’re going to look back over the last several years and see why unusual and unexpected events and situations have occurred. On Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 9:50 p.m. (ET), the planet, Uranus (the unusual and the unexpected), left the intuitive sun-sign of Pisces, the Fish, after a seven-year stay and entered the

aggressive sun-sign of Aries, the Ram. Noteworthy: Whatever your sun-sign, this transit has affected you directly, since Aries governs one of the twelve houses within your birth chart (also known as the zodiac wheel).

The Planets in Play: However, the seven-year journey of the planet, Uranus, through Aries, didn’t follow a simple travel schedule. No, our solar system is far too interesting and much more complex than that. For the rest of 2010—and into the early months of 2011—Uranus ran back and forth through Pisces and Aries until Uranus finally became serious about its seven-year commitment on Saturday, March 12, 2011.

Starcast: February Part 2

Welcome to “Starcast” – an absorbing look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. Here we are, on Earth, during one of those fascinating cycles when the Sun enters the next sun-sign one day – and the New Moon (when the Sun and the Moon are in perfect alignment within one of the 12 sun-signs) occurs 10 days later in the same sun-sign. Case-in-point: Last Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. (ET), the Sun (personal efforts) entered the mystical sun-sign of Pisces, the Fish. And tomorrow, on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 3 a.m. (ET), the New Moon (new beginnings) takes place in the same Pisces, the Fish – creating a superb force field that unfolds favorably over the next 12 to 14 days.

Noteworthy: Not to be treated casually (worse still, overlooked), this 14-day time frame is the ideal cycle in which to initiate new ideas, new plans, new contacts; certainly, new projects. Know that this is the glamorous sun-sign of Pisces, the Fish – one swimming upward toward the light; the other, downward toward the most obscure part of a sandy Ocean floor. Ruled by the subtle and unpredictable planet, Neptune – here, both beautiful dreams and terrifying nightmares are represented – possibly, at the same time. Whatever your sun-sign, this New Moon in Pisces affects you directly – because Pisces rules one of the twelve houses within your own birth chart (also known as the zodiac wheel).

Now, look at a numerical (1 through 12) clock or wristwatch. That’s the zodiac wheel; that’s your birth chart. And each pie-shaped wedge (3 to 2 o’clock, for example) is a house, an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your daily Life, one of which Pisces, the Fish, most certainly governs in your birth chart. Work with it closely – and work with it lovingly. The benefits promise to be enormous.

Welcome to “Starcast” – a fascinating look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. It’s Valentine’s Day! And no other Holiday creates quite the kind of excitement that this one does. A red Heart is at the center of, and on, everything – greeting cards, candy, cupcakes, cakes; in fact, if it’s editable, there’s a Heart on it, if it’s February 14th. What better time than right now to focus on the fact that the planet, Venus (love, warmth, close relationships, creativity, and abundance

– of all kinds), has been in the resourceful sun-sign of Capricorn, the Mountain Goat (forever climbing up the steep mountain ledge to safety and success), since November 5, 2013 – and will be there until Venus leaves Capricorn and enters the amazing Aquarius, the Water Bearer (forever pouring the Waters of Truth on Humankind), on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 4:04 p.m. (ET)

Noteworthy: This is good – very good, for this particular planetary transit (Venus in Capricorn) brings significant, vivid, and quite often, very favorable and loving situations and conditions with it. Here, the elements of care, understanding, and thoughtfulness are combined with new developments – developments which assure an unwavering focus and single-minded strength that is pure Capricorn – plus! a certain and positive transformative energy as the planet, Venus, moves forward through whichever House (there are 12) that Capricorn, the Mountain Goat, governs in your own birth chart.
