Welcome to “Starcast” – a delightful look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. Here’s a good thought. No matter how dull, how uneven, or how uninspired a day may seem – know this: Life – your Life – is constantly moving forward. Nothing stays the same. And due to the constant forward motion of the heavenly bodies within our solar system – everything changes. And if You think the right thoughts (happiness, harmony, love) only – everything changes for the better. Leading the way is the changing of the Sun as it slips from one sun-sign into the next. An excellent example of this occurred last Monday,

July 22, 2013 at 11:56 a.m. (ET), when the Sun moved into the dazzling sun-sign of Leo, the Lion. Noteworthy: The Sun itself, around which all other planets revolve, is at the core of our solar system. Interesting enough, the Sun is the ruler of the dramatic Leo, the Lion, gifting this particular sun-sign with a magnificence enjoyed by no other sun-sign. Still, everyone, everywhere, has Leo ruling one of the 12 houses within their birth chart. The result: Everyone is directly affected by whatever planetary activity is taking place in this sun-sign. Case-in-point: The New Moon (new beginnings – when the Sun and the Moon are in perfect alignment) took place three days ago, on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 5:51 p.m. (ET). From then, and during the next 12 days, is the ideal time to initiate new ideas, new plans, new projects, and new relationships.

Look at a numerical (1 through 12) clock. That’s the zodiac wheel; that’s your birth chart, too, in which each pie-shaped wedge (6 to 5 o’clock, for example) is a house – an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your world, one of which Leo governs. So, this stunning influence (the New Moon in dynamic Leo) will attract the situations, the events, and the involvements that appear in your Life, as well as how you’ll act and react to them. No one is excluded. Here’s how the New Moon (new beginnings) in glamorous Leo, the Lion, affects the 12 sun-signs within the 12 houses of the zodiac wheel.

ARIES March 21-April 20

Your 5th House: Hearts Afire! For you, relationships – especially an affair-of-the-heart (there could be more than one) – dominate your thoughts. Included, too, are the theater, film, travel, and absolutely all creative matters. SIDESTEP dwelling on the past – even for an instant.

TAURUS April 21-May 20

Your 4th House: Base-of-Operations – where-you-live and where-you-work. It’s here, in your home base, that you feel most comfortable. At all times. This cycle proves to be a superb time in which to strengthen your ability to advance. SIDESTEP considering a change of style – your style.

GEMINI May 21-June 20

Your 3rd House: All Forms of Communications. You adore good ideas, you adore good words – and most of all, you relish all kinds of interesting conversation. This is the unique part of your Life that you rule – with focus and flair. SIDESTEP a refusal to see recent developments clearly.

CANCER June 21-July 22

Your 2nd House: Income, Possessions, Lifestyle. Low-key and casual, though you may seem, you’re quite skilled at earning large sums of money. Now’s the time to press ahead with a plan that you’ve had on the back-burner for some time. SIDESTEP not living in the moment.

LEO July 23-August 22

Your 1st House: Personal Efforts. This is the best! After all, the New Moon in Leo marks the start of your own personal New Year. Let nothing stop you from discovering all those wonderful new possibilities. SIDESTEP an uncharacteristic hesitation about meeting new people.

VIRGO August 23-September 22

Your 12th House: Private Matters and Closed-Door Strategy-Planning Sessions. Few people, if any, ever know the extent – or the intensity – of your confidential calls and meetings. Here, you shine, and indeed, rule. Keep going. SIDESTEP allowing your focus to wander off course.

LIBRA September 23-October 22

Your 11th House: Your Secret Agenda. What could be more important, more interesting, or more time-consuming than obtaining the desires-of-your-heart? Nothing! And you’re very comfortable with the process. SIDESTEP overlooking the importance – and accuracy – of your insight.

SCORPIO October 23-November 22

Your 10th House: The Summit. Who else but You could rule – effortlessly – from a mountain top? No one. And since you do it with such ease, no one questions your Right to do so. Just continue – this is a fine time! SIDESTEP a reluctance to fully utilize your amazing fact-finding skills.

SAGITTARIUS November 23-December 21

Your 9th House: People, Plans, and Projects – near and at a distance. This significant time has been long in coming. But it’s here now, so make good use of it. Pace yourself and accept whatever fantastic developments surface. SIDESTEP a lack of interest in possibilities.

CAPRICORN December 22-January 19

Your 8th House: Revitalization – mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. This calls for a complete review, by you, of current conditions. Go slowly, talk to everyone, and know that you have planetary backup. SIDESTEP thinking that time is unlimited. It isn’t.

AQUARIUS January 20-February 18

Your 7th House: Agreements and Special Arrangements – personal and professional. Now your ability to think outside-the-box is brought into play, as you call, meet, and create the remarkable agreement or special arrangement. You can do this! SIDESTEP the sarcastic answer.

PISCES February 19-March 20

Your 6th House: The Work Scene, Its Content and Its Direction. It’s a surprise to most, but this is the one environment in which you brook no interference, whatsoever. Gently, yes; but you’re still very much in charge. SIDESTEP being casual about who you share secrets with.
