Welcome to “Starcast” – an incredible look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. As the year, 2012, comes to a close, let’s reflect on the change, even the transformation, that have taken place – for each us – during this last year. All of it can be traced to the way in which the planet, Pluto (slow-moving transformation), glided smoothly from one sun-sign – Sagittarius, the Centaur (half human/half horse) – into the next, Capricorn, the Mountain Goat (forever climbing up the narrow ledge toward success), last November 26, 2008. For nearly 14 years! That’s amazing, as Pluto in Capricorn now makes its way forward into the New Year, 2013 – and beyond until November 19, 2024 – except for a brief back and forth through Aquarius, the Water Bearer (forever pouring the waters of Truth on humankind), from January 20 to September 1, 2024, before finally leaving Capricorn for Aquarius on November 19, 2024 (definitely, a “Starcast” for another time).

Noteworthy: The dazzling effect of Pluto’s (a co-ruler with the planet, Mars – raw energy – of Scorpio, the Scorpion) concentrated and transformative energy is now advancing forward through whichever House (there are 12) that Capricorn rules in your own birth chart. No one (worldwide) is ever excluded.

Visualize a numerical (1 through 12) clock or wristwatch. That’s the original zodiac wheel; that’s also your own birth chart. And each pie-shaped wedge (7 to 6 o’clock, for example) is a house – an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your day-to-day world. Know that this influence (Pluto in Capricorn), now thrives amid vivid circumstances that teach you about ongoing change. The result: A new way of thinking, of acting and reacting; and ultimately, of handling all matters with thought, simplicity, and timely action. It is pure transformation – no matter who you are or where you are.

Here’s how Pluto’s lengthy sojourn through Capricorn, the Mountain Goat, affects the 12 sun-signs within the 12 houses of the zodiac wheel.

[ARIES] March 21-April 20

The 10th House: Your Career and Its Advancement. Your thoughts are now focused on a cross-section of work-related ideas, plans, and projects. Even your personal life must now fit in with your career, its content, and its direction. SIDESTEP distraction – of any kind.

[TAURUS] April 21-May 20

The 9th House: People, Plans, and Projects – near and at a distance. Stunning new ideas, and at least one major project (perhaps, two), consume you. What matters most now is reaching new heights in your ongoing quest for success. SIDESTEP allowing inactivity to dominate.

[GEMINI] May 21-June 20

The 8th House: Revitalization – mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. Confidentiality, diligence, and absolute quiet now permeate this sector, as you take the measured steps called for to advance your cause. SIDESTEP not being aware of the opportunities close at hand.

[CANCER] June 21-July 22

The 7th House: Alliances, Agreements, and Collaborative Efforts. At the forefront of all new developments is your considerable ability to oversee important meetings. Take time to review alliances – and touch base with the significant ones. SIDESTEP openly discussing current endeavors.

[LEO] July 23-August 22

The 6th House: The Work Scene, Its Content, and Its Direction. Included here are your relations with close associates as well as those who work for you. Since you’re a natural leader, you’ll now welcome the chance to restructure the whole scene. SIDESTEP stopping, even for a moment.

[VIRGO] August 23-September 22

The 5th House: Love is in the Air – in both your private and creative worlds. Not one to draw attention to yourself – or to your endeavors – you’ll be amazed by the latest developments that now circle you and your way of doing things. SIDESTEP not being your on-time and reliable self.

[LIBRA] September 23-October 22

The 4th House: Your Base-of-Operations – where-you-live and where you-work. Since you are your own best partner, you’ll now keep your own counsel as home-related events call for a new approach. Go it alone, if situations demand it. SIDESTEP reacting too low-key for developments.

[SCORPIO] October 23-November 22

The 3rd House: Expressing Yourself – in both personal and professional matters. Vital now is your masterful touch – whether the method of contact is an e-mail, a phone call, a text message, or a handwritten note. Most important is your insight and directness. SIDESTEP uncertainty.

[SAGITTARIUS] November 23-December 21

The 2nd House: Your Income, Possessions, and Lifestyle. Be kind and understanding – particularly when it comes to your own foibles. Look now at your own lifestyle, and decide just where you need to create a new system. SIDESTEP hiding – when your presence and your Voice are vital.

[CAPRICORN] December 22-January 19

The 1st House: Your Personal Endeavors. The world around you has changed. And it will continue to change – in bold and wildly attractive strokes. Welcome this. But realize that you can say No! to whatever displeases you. SIDESTEP an uncharacteristic refusal to be involved.

[AQUARIUS] January 20-February 18

The 12th House: Private Matters and Secret Strategy-Planning Sessions. In reality, you’re always at work behind-the-scenes. But with Pluto, the planet of transformation, hard at work, your uniqueness will truly be sought. SIDESTEP allowing hesitation to permeate your latest efforts.

[PISCES] February 19-March 20

The 11th House: Your Secret Agenda – which contains the desires-of- your-heart. Since you’re usually so low-key, no one ever knows what you truly desire. And with Capricorn, now influencing this sector, you’ll feel much more at ease with those desires. SIDESTEP being difficult to reach.
