Welcome to “Starcast” – an absorbing look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. Here we are, on Earth, during one of those fascinating cycles when the Sun enters the next sun-sign one day – and the New Moon (when the Sun and the Moon are in perfect alignment within one of the 12 sun-signs) occurs 10 days later in the same sun-sign. Case-in-point: Last Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. (ET), the Sun (personal efforts) entered the mystical sun-sign of Pisces, the Fish. And tomorrow, on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 3 a.m. (ET), the New Moon (new beginnings) takes place in the same Pisces, the Fish – creating a superb force field that unfolds favorably over the next 12 to 14 days.

Noteworthy: Not to be treated casually (worse still, overlooked), this 14-day time frame is the ideal cycle in which to initiate new ideas, new plans, new contacts; certainly, new projects. Know that this is the glamorous sun-sign of Pisces, the Fish – one swimming upward toward the light; the other, downward toward the most obscure part of a sandy Ocean floor. Ruled by the subtle and unpredictable planet, Neptune – here, both beautiful dreams and terrifying nightmares are represented – possibly, at the same time. Whatever your sun-sign, this New Moon in Pisces affects you directly – because Pisces rules one of the twelve houses within your own birth chart (also known as the zodiac wheel).

Now, look at a numerical (1 through 12) clock or wristwatch. That’s the zodiac wheel; that’s your birth chart. And each pie-shaped wedge (3 to 2 o’clock, for example) is a house, an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your daily Life, one of which Pisces, the Fish, most certainly governs in your birth chart. Work with it closely – and work with it lovingly. The benefits promise to be enormous.

Here’s how the scintillating New Moon (new starts) in Pisces, the Fish, influences the 12 sun-signs within the 12 houses of the zodiac wheel.

ARIES March 21-April 19

Your 12th House: Confidential Matters and Closed-Door Strategy-Planning Sessions. Focus on those late-breaking developments, as they might suggest a change of direction. Allow time to follow through. SIDESTEP going over past situations and involvements, best forgotten.

TAURUS April 20-May 20

Your 11th House: Your Secret Agenda, which contains the desires-of-your-heart. Pace yourself now, as elements of high activity surface within your personal world. The time for being casual about everything has long faded. You’re quite serious now. SIDESTEP being too low-key.

GEMINI May 21-June 21

Your 10th House: Your Career and Its Advancement. Perfect! This particular New Moon couldn’t have come at a better time. And you are perfectly poised to take full advantage of it – and the prosperity that it brings with it. SIDESTEP losing your temper – with the wrong people.

CANCER June 22-July 22

Your 9th House: New Ideas, New Plans, and New Projects – near and at a distance. Delve into the inner lining of your current projects and decide exactly which one should be highlighted. There are several good ones. Pick the best! SIDESTEP sarcasm – either yours or someone else’s.

LEO July 23-August 22

Your 8th House: Revitalization, on all levels – mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. Relax and be still. Everything is more in control than you may think. Just let your next step surface in your mind. SIDESTEP a bleak take on situations that invade your thoughts.

LIBRA September 23-October 22

Your 6th House: Your Working Environment as well as your Relations with Close Associates. It’s your sense of balance that works wonders now as you create a new scene at work. Others are amazed, but not you. You’re just a natural. SIDESTEP overlooking some superb ideas.

SCORPIO October 23-November 21

Your 5th House: Close Relationships, Creative Matters, and Speculation – taking a chance. You can go with the flow – and still know exactly where you’re at. Allow your remarkable intuition and sense of timing to lead the way in all current developments. SIDESTEP being difficult.

SAGITTARIUS November 22-December 21

Your 4th House: Your Base-of-Operations – where-you-live and where-you-work. Be the welcoming You, as new people and new conditions appear in your life. Your ruler, Jupiter (abundance), would have it no other way. SIDESTEP chilliness; warmth truly saves the day.

CAPRICORN December 22-January 19

Your 3rd House: All Forms of Communications. This is just the cycle that you’ve been waiting for; namely, an excellent time to reach out – and to get your special message across. And use everything possible – e-mail, text, phone – to spread the word. SIDESTEP being distant.

AQUARIUS January 20-February 18

Your 2nd House: Your Income, Possessions, and Lifestyle. Avoid any form of distraction that now appears on your path. Your focus must be on current endeavors, if you’re to really maximize the superb potential that’s at hand. SIDESTEP hiding out – when center stage belongs to you.

PISCES February 19-March 20

Your 1st House: Your Personal Endeavors. Great! This mystical New Moon in Pisces signals the start of your personal New Year. Be poised, centered, and aware of everything. The successful advancement of a new project is quite possible. SIDESTEP being nearly impossible to find.
