Welcome to “Starcast” – an exhilarating look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. While the concept of late-breaking news is a staple on Earth, the same concept can easily be applied to our solar system. There, all things (the Moon and the planets) are constantly in motion. And new developments are always underway. Take, for example, the fact that the Sun (personal endeavors) entered the sun-sign of the situation-changing, excitement-creating, circumstances-that-arrive-out-of-nowhere sun-sign of Aquarius, the Water Bearer, several weeks ago, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 4:52 p.m. (ET). And in just two days, Sunday, February 10, 2013 – the New Moon (new starts) occurs in the same Aquarius at 2:20 a.m. (ET) – setting up a vital force field that unfolds favorably over the 12 to 14 days that follow.

Of Interest: Whatever your sun-sign (there are 12), as well as wherever you are in the world (at any moment), this New Moon (new starts) affects you directly – because Aquarius, ruled by the planet, Uranus (the unusual and the unexpected), governs one of the twelve houses in your birth chart (also known as the zodiac wheel). Relax. The New Moon, which is a monthly event, is both wonderful and divine, for it offers – every human being – the opportunity to start anew in a particular area of Life. Noteworthy: the New Moon is to be worked with – never to be forced, never to be treated casually; certainly, never to be ignored.

Look at a numerical (1 through 12) clock. That’s the zodiac wheel – that’s your birth chart, too, in which each pie-shaped wedge (3 to 2 o’clock, for example) is a house – an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your Life – one of which Aquarius, governs. And know that this influence (the New Moon in Aquarius) brings sheer Advancement – no matter whom you are or where you are.

Here’s how the New Moon (new starts) in Aquarius, the Water Bearer, affects the 12 sun-signs within the 12 houses of the zodiac wheel.

[ARIES] March 21-April 20

The 11th House: Your Secret Agenda. Others (such as friends, family, and close associates) haven’t the vaguest idea about what you really want or about the enormous weight that you’re now carrying. That’s fine. New developments turn events in your favor. SIDESTEP any uncertainty.

[TAURUS] April 21-May 20

The 10th House: The Best! in Career Advancement and Tangible Gain. This New Moon is wrapped in The Unexpected. And while you prefer situations to move ahead in an orderly fashion; right now, flexibility, on your part, works well. SIDESTEP a humorless take on situations.

[GEMINI] May 21-June 20

The 9th House: Creating Plan A. At this moment in time, you find yourself within late-breaking developments that are both easy and inspirational. So, activate your newest ideas with calls, e-mails, and text messages. Even meetings prove to be very good. SIDESTEP chilliness, on your part.

[CANCER] June 21-July 22

The 8th House: New Life appears out-of-nowhere, as Revitalization, on all levels – mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual – comes into existence. Listen closely – not to what others say. No, listen closely to what your Heart tells you. SIDESTEP hiding out – really, hiding out.

[LEO] July 23-August 22

The 7th House: Agreements, Special Arrangements; even, the Desired Contract. If others try to pressure you into an uncomfortable agreement – have none of it. Know that time is on your side. And you can wait for the agreement that suits you. SIDESTEP skipping over whatever is positive.

[VIRGO] August 23-September 22

The 6th House: Your Work, Its Content, and Its Direction. It’s odd, but even though you’re particular about so many things – you’re at ease in the most unusual working conditions. That’s good, for now is the ideal time to initiate a brand new project. SIDESTEP impatience, on your part.

[LIBRA] September 23-October 22

The 5th House: Love, Laughter, Close Relationships, and Creativity. This New Moon proves to be a delightful event, one that finds you practically in love with the whole world. Or at least, that spot of ground on which you’re center stage. SIDESTEP a lackluster approach to new possibilities.

[SCORPIO] October 23-November 22

The 4th House: The Strong Foundation – where-you-live and where-you-work. Solutions to home and home-related matters can now be found – and they’re likely to drop in out-of-the-blue. Check everything out, before you dismiss it. You never know. SIDESTEP hostility, on a grand scale.

[SAGITTARIUS] November 23-December 21

The 3rd House: New Ways of Self-Expression. Let’s get some enthusiasm back in the picture. And you certainly have the skill and the vision to do just that. Start by writing – e-mails, text messages, and manuscripts. And don’t stop. SIDESTEP the absence of your usual high energy.

[CAPRICORN] December 22-January 19

The 2nd House: Your Income, Possessions, and Lifestyle. The unusual and the unexpected (compliments of Aquarius’ planetary ruler, Uranus) fill the air. Grab them both and apply them to your income-producing efforts. It works! SIDESTEP going too fast. Pacing is all-important now.

[AQUARIUS] January 20-February 18

The 1st House: Personal Endeavors. This is just what you’ve been waiting for – a New Moon that marks the start of your personal New Year. It’s perfect! Now, you can initiate plans and projects to your heart’s content. SIDESTEP being evasive when the direct approach could work wonders.

[PISCES] February 19-March 20

The 12th House: Confidential Calls, Private Meetings, and Closed-Door Strategy-Planning Sessions. Go slowly, for the excitement that fills several situations, and more than one proposal, can be overwhelming. SIDESTEP allowing a sense of depression to invade your thoughts.
