Starcast: January Part 2

Welcome to "Starcast" - an absorbing look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. While the concept of ‘moving forward' is a staple here on Earth, the same concept can be seen at work in our amazing solar system. There, the Moon and the planets are constantly in forward motion. And late-breaking developments are always underway. In fact, each month brings its own group of new developments. Take, for example, the Sun's entry into the unpredictable sun-sign of Aquarius, the Water Bearer (forever pouring the Waters of Truth of Humankind), last Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:10 a.m. (ET). Wait! It gets better. Then, last Monday, January 23, 2012, the New Moon (when the Sun and the Moon are in perfect alignment within the same sun-sign, signifying new starts) occurred in the same Aquarius at 2:41 a.m. (ET) - setting up a vital force field that unfolds favorably over the next 12 to 14 days.

Noteworthy: Whatever your sun-sign, as well as wherever you are on Earth, this New Moon affects you directly - because Aquarius, ruled by the planet, Uranus (the unusual and the unexpected), governs one of the twelve houses within your birth chart - also known as the zodiac wheel. Time now to create your own late-breaking developments by initiating whatever is new - new ideas, new plans, new projects. Relax, be steady, and focus. The New Moon always brings something very good.

Now, visualize a numerical (1 through 12) clock. That's the zodiac wheel; that's your birth chart. And each pie-shaped wedge (3 to 2 o'clock, for example) is a house - an area of activity (love, money - in every currency imaginable - work, and so on) in your daily Life - one of which Aquarius, the Water Bearer, governs. And the New Moon's place in your birth chart is the House where significant people and situations will arrive to set the stage for late-breaking developments. Welcome them; work with them. It's sheer Advancement - no matter who you are or where you are.

[ARIES] March 21-April 20

The 11th House: Your Secret Agenda. For someone who's so anxious to embark on new adventures (your planetary ruler is Mars - that's energy), you're often in a holding pattern about what to do next. Take the time - and plan! SIDESTEP being smug when you have a distinct advantage.

[TAURUS] April 21-May 20

The 10th House: Your Career. Since this particular house is ruled by the planet, Uranus ( the unusual and the unexpected), you frequently surprise others (including yourself) with your work and career choices. Stay on your path - it's one you understand. SIDESTEP uncertainty.

[GEMINI] May 21-June 20

The 9th House: New Ideas, New People, and New Projects - near and at a distance. This can be a delightful cycle, if you allow yourself to bask in the large amount of new ideas, contacts, and possibilities that appear. You are, indeed, in your Element. SIDESTEP skimming the surface.

[CANCER] June 21-July 22

The 8th House: Revitalization, on all levels - mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. With this New Moon, you can start whatever you want to start - anew. But first, you'll have to emerge from your shell - and embrace the incredible. SIDESTEP indecisiveness in key areas.

[LEO] July 23-August 22

The 7th House: Alliances and Special Arrangements; even the sought-after Contract. It's important during this dramatic cycle to stay focused on exactly what you want in the way of an Agreement. A vague idea just won't work. Aim for the optimum. SIDESTEP being unapproachable.

[VIRGO] August 23-September 22

The 6th House: Your Working Environment. A great new opportunity now surfaces within your work. Follow through on the twists and turns, adding your special touch of style and order. A classic project may well be in the making. SIDESTEP the sarcastic remark at the wrong moment.

[LIBRA] September 23-October 22

The 5th House: Close Ties, Creativity, and Speculation - taking a chance. Ruled by the planet, Venus (the Love Goddess), you're always drawn to the unique romance or project. And this New Moon is no exception. SIDESTEP placing distance between yourself and those close to you.

[SCORPIO] October 23-November 22

The 4th House: Your Base-of-Operations - where-you-live and where- you-work. You're forever quick to confront any situation - even the good ones. Much activity now occurs within your beloved base-of-operations. And you now know exactly how to protect home base. SIDESTEP anger.

[SAGITTARIUS] November 23-December 21

The 3rd House: Expressing Yourself. Absolutely brilliant (even as a child), you now open the lines of communications. And whatever the plan or project, you'll use every getting-the-message-out device available to you. Go for it! SIDESTEP mild action when a vigorous approach is called for.

[CAPRICORN] December 22-January 19

The 2nd House: Your Income and Lifestyle. You imprint everything with your own style, especially your financial affairs. And with the unusual and the unexpected permeating this New Moon, it's amazing how well it blends with new developments. SIDESTEP not defining what you want.

[AQUARIUS] January 20-February 18

The 1st House: Your Personal Efforts and Endeavors. Fabulous! This New Moon marks the start of your personal New Year. Check your Lists (all of them) - adding whatever New Items come to mind. You haven't a minute to waste. SIDESTEP a reluctance to take direct action at the right time.

[PISCES] February 19-March 20The 12th House: Confidential Matters and Secret Strategy-Planning Sessions. For you, so much goes on behind-closed-doors. Since you have planetary backup (a stunning New Moon), work closely with those secret plans. Just be certain it's worth the intrigue. SIDESTEP too much noise.
