Welcome to “Starcast” – a delightful look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. Here, on Earth, we’re quite familiar with the concept of “late-breaking news.” It’s a lifestyle staple and permeates our phone calls, our conversations, our e-mails, our text messages; certainly, all our radio and television newscasts. Interestingly enough, the same concept – that of “late-breaking news” – can be applied to our solar system. There, surprise change and new developments are constantly underway; thereby, creating the basis for our solar system’s own brand of “late-breaking news.” Take, for example, the news item that the Sun (personal endeavors) entered the sun-sign of Aquarius, the Water Bearer (forever pouring the Waters of Truth of Humankind), last Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 10:52 p.m. (ET).

Wait! It gets better. Yesterday, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 4:48 p.m. (ET), the New Moon (new starts) occurred in the same Aquarius – setting up a vital and positive force field that unfolds favorably over the next 12 to 14 days. And here’s some additional “late-breaking news.”

Whatever your sun-sign, wherever you are on Earth, this New Moon affects you directly – because Aquarius, ruled by the planet, Uranus (the unusual and the expected), governs one of the twelve houses in your own birth chart – also known as the zodiac wheel. Perfect! Now is the time to create your own “late-breaking news” by initiating all those things in your Life that are new – new ideas, new plans, new relationships, and yes! new projects. Definitely, your version of Heaven here on Earth.

Visualize a numerical (1 through 12) clock. That’s your birth chart. And each pie-shaped wedge (3 to 2 o’clock, for example) is a house, an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your daily Life, one of which Aquarius rules in your birth chart. So, know that this influence (the New Moon in Aquarius) arrives to set the stage for all those newly-created elements and relationships within your own “late-breaking news” – no matter who you are or where you are.

Here’s how the New Moon (new starts) in Aquarius, the Water Bearer, affects the 12 sun-signs within the 12 houses of the zodiac wheel.

ARIES March 21-April 19

Your 11th House: The Desires-of-your-Heart. Although you’re so driven (thanks to your planetary ruler, Mars – and that’s raw energy), you’re often uncertain about what it is that you truly desire. Step back. The right answer is close by. SIDESTEP overlooking some excellent ideas.

TAURUS April 20-May 20

Your 10th House: Your Career and Its Advancement. This house is ruled by Uranus – the unusual and the unexpected. And you’re often amazed by the career choices that you make. For now, stay on the straight and narrow path. It’ll take you where you want to go. SIDESTEP hiding out.

GEMINI May 21-June 21

Your 9th House: New Ideas and New Projects – near and at a distance. While you’re at ease with an unlimited amount of new ideas, concepts, contacts, and possibilities, the extraordinary sun-sign of Aquarius, makes it all so real. SIDESTEP going over past and uneven conditions.

CANCER June 22-July 22

Your 8th House: Revitalization – mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. You can take this special time – and once again, allow yourself to start your Life anew. Just be willing to step out of your shell. SIDESTEP allowing a bleak take on situations to invade your thoughts.

LEO July 23-August 22

Your 7th House: Agreements and Arrangements; even, the sought-after Contract. Stay focused on your original concepts, for they contain the element of staying power. And that’s what you’ll need to win a certain encounter. SIDESTEP losing your temper – with the wrong people.

VIRGO August 23-September 22

Your 6th House: Your Working Environment as well as Relations with Close Associates and Co-Workers. No matter where an unusual or an out-of-the-way workplace exists, there’s a Virgo. Forever the skilled boss or the skilled employee, this month turns out well. SIDESTEP sarcasm.

LIBRA September 23-October 22

Your 5th House: Close Relationships and Creativity. Ruled by the planet, Venus, you’re forever drawn to absolutely any involvement that smacks of an offbeat romance. This month is no exception, as your Heart finds a new objective. SIDESTEP being indifferent when interest is the Key.

SCORPIO October 23-November 22

Your 4th House: Home-Related Matters. Since nothing ever escapes your eagle eye, you’re always ready, willing, and able to take on unusual situations, conditions, people. That’s good, because you know exactly how to protect home base. SIDESTEP a style other than your own.

SAGITTARIUS November 23-December 21

Your 3rd House: Expressing Your Point-of-View. For you, this is very easy. Whatever form the message takes – written or spoken – you’re always quick to voice your thoughts, opinions, and latest ideas. Keep talking. It’ll get you whatever you desire. SIDESTEP being indolent.

CAPRICORN December 22-January 19

Your 2nd House: Your income, Possessions, and Lifestyle. For someone who’s as structured and business-minded as you are, you sometimes enter into the most unusual business arrangements. Even more strange, it works for you. This month proves that point. SIDESTEP being vague.

AQUARIUS January 20-February 18

Your 1st House: Center Stage. This New Moon (new starts) in Aquarius, your sun-sign, marks the start of your own New Year. Time now to step to the center of the stage – wherever that stage may be – and show the world how great you really are. SIDESTEP being difficult to reach.

PISCES February 19-March 20

Your 12th House: Secret Meetings and Strategy-Planning Sessions. Here’s an activity in which you excel. There’s never any fuss or upset, as you go about weaving plots, plans, and intrigue. Plan to initiate things next month. SIDESTEP disappearing – at the most inadvisable time.
