Welcome to “Starcast” – a scintillating look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. What, exactly, is going on in our solar system as we near the end of the first month of the New Year – 2013? Well, here on Earth, the U.S.A. has just finished staging the second Inauguration of President Obama, complete with a huge swearing-in ceremony, a celebratory luncheon, and a lavish Inaugural Ball. While all of this was going on, our solar system has continued to gracefully advance, magnificent and unrelenting in its own dynamics. And within those dynamics, the planet, Jupiter (luxury, ease, abundant good fortune; namely Lady Luck), entered the dazzling sun-sign of Gemini, the Twins, last June 11, 2012. And its extraordinary jaunt will last until June 25, 2013, when it enters the beguiling sun-sign of Cancer, the Crab (definitely, a “Starcast” for another time).

Noteworthy: This is an extremely compelling planetary placement, since whichever one of the 12 sun-signs you are, this life-altering planetary transit affects you directly, for the vibrant and mercurial-thinking Gemini governs one of the twelve houses within your own birth chart (also known as the zodiac wheel). And this capricious romp of the planet, Jupiter (always, Lady Luck), through Gemini, the Twins, promises to deliver the surfacing, in your Life, of incredible good fortune and marvelous developments that only you will know what to do with.

Look at a numerical (1 through 12) clock. That’s the zodiac wheel – that’s your birth chart, too, in which each pie-shaped wedge (7 to 6 o’clock, for example) is a house – an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your private world – one of which Gemini, the Twins, rules. And know that this influence (Jupiter in Gemini) is now at work bringing you new possibilities and opportunities.

Here’s how the planet, Jupiter (Lady Luck), going through Gemini, the Twins, affects the 12 sun-signs within the 12 houses of the zodiac wheel.

[ARIES] March 21-April 20

Your 3rd House: All Forms of Communications. Time now to initiate whatever good thing comes to mind. With Lady Luck permeating your thoughts, everything that you think, write, and/or say will have a certain sparkle. And exciting dialogue rules! SIDESTEP being difficult to reach.

[TAURUS] April 21-May 20

Your 2nd House: Income, Possessions, and Lifestyle. Establish a new and focused daily schedule (even on the weekends) – and stay close to it, since several good opportunities could now distract you. Know that this is a time when hard work is rewarded. SIDESTEP confusion, of any kind.

[GEMINI] May 21-June 20

Your 1st House: Your Personal Endeavors. Leap into Life with ease, for the planet, Jupiter (abundance and fantastic developments), is right with you. Think well, for whatever you create now could have a favorable and long-lasting influence. SIDESTEP questioning your own intuition.

[CANCER] June 21-July 22

Your 12th House: Private Matters and Secret Strategy-Planning Sessions. Know that whatever plans and blueprints you create and develop now will open the way to tangible gain. And matters of a financial nature must be kept confidential. SIDESTEP clinging to outdated systems.

[LEO] July 23-August 22

Your 11th House: Your Secret Agenda – which always includes obtaining the desires-of-your-heart. Fabulous ideas and insights now surface. And you’re eager to make them a reality. And you can – if you pace yourself. SIDESTEP skimming the surface of several important issues.

[VIRGO] August 23-September 22

Your 10th House: Career and Gain, Oh, yes, this is definitely your time. Know it and allow yourself to be center stage. In your own elegant and low-key way, forge ahead with several high-level matters that relate perfectly to your advancement. SIDESTEP any situation that’s intrusive.

[LIBRA] September 23-October 22

Your 9th House: People, Plans, and Projects – near and at a distance. This is just your style, as new contacts blend in a superb and seamless way with current plans and projects. And your own glamorous being adds to the vividness. SIDESTEP the sarcastic remark – yours or someone else’s.

[SCORPIO] October 23-November 22

Your 8th House: Revitalization, on all levels – mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. Welcome whatever (person, place, or thing) is clear, clean, and refreshing, as Gemini (the ruler of your 8th House) is an air sign. You’ll like it! SIDESTEP a refusal to let past disputes dissolve.

[SAGITTARIUS] November 23-December 21

Your 7th House: Special Arrangements, even the Desired Contract. Much that occurs now – in the way of new people and new possibilities – has the feel of Lady Luck (your planetary ruler) about it. Think well before you sign anything. SIDESTEP an uncharacteristic lack of direction.

[CAPRICORN] December 22-January 19

Your 6th House: The Work Scene, Its Content, and Its Direction. You always expect good situations and good relationships within your working environment. But with Lady Luck holding court there, even you are amazed by the joy. SIDESTEP refusing to initiate certain calls.

[AQUARIUS] January 20-February 18

Your 5th House: Close Relationships, Creativity, and Speculation – taking a chance. “Wildly exciting” best describes the essence of your 5th house endeavors right now. And the potential for love, laughter, and absolute bliss most definitely exist. SIDESTEP any involvement that’s bewildering.

[PISCES] February 19-March 20

Your 4th House: Base-of-Operations – where-you-live and where-you-work. Throughout this cycle of Jupiter in Gemini, the Twins, you’ll find that remarkable conditions can now be established – conditions that at no other time would be possible. SIDESTEP the absence of clarity.
