Welcome to “Starcast” – an absorbing look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. Forever moving forward, the Moon and the planets simply won’t stop. And all this constant activity has a direct effect on everyone. It matters, not in the least, where you live on Earth. You’ll most definitely feel its influence somewhere within your Life.

A perfect illustration: the New Moon (when the Sun and the Moon are perfectly aligned in the same sun-sign) occurs tomorrow, Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:57 a.m. (ET) in the delightful, dynamic, and mischievous sun-sign of Gemini, the Twins. Now, everyone has Gemini ruling one of the twelve houses within their own birth chart. The result: Everyone is influenced by whatever planetary activity occurs within this particular sun-sign. So, the New Moon (new starts that unfold favorably over the next 10 to 12 days) is the perfect time to initiate new plans, new projects, new relationships. Focus on the plan, project, and relationship. Do what needs to be done. Wait. Repeat, in necessary. Adjust, it needed.

Noteworthy: Project Gemini was America’s second (1964-66) man-in-space program following Project Mercury (Gemini’s planetary ruler), America’s first. Authorized by Congress in 1961 as a step toward landing on the Moon, Gemini – with its two-person crew – was named for this third constellation of the zodiac. Defined by the twin stars, Castor and Pollux – its very name, Gemini, is Latin for Twins. Among those houses: Visualize a numerical (1 through 12) clock. That’s the zodiac wheel; that’s your birth chart, too, in which each pie-shaped wedge (5 to 4 o’clock, for example) is a house – an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your Life, one of which Gemini governs. So, this great cosmic activity (New Moon in Gemini) influences and moves on – no matter where you are.

Here’s how the New Moon (new starts) in dazzling Gemini, the Twins, affects the 12 sun-signs within the 12 houses of the zodiac wheel.

ARIES March 21-April 20

The 3rd House: Dialogue. All kinds of calls, e-mails, and visitors (unexpected and by appointment) now arrive. Be selective as you’re consumed with new ideas and new game plans, as a result. Know that you can set your own agenda. SIDESTEP even a hint of depression.

TAURUS April 21-May 20

The 2nd House: Your Personal Income, Possessions, and Lifestyle. Time now to turn your full attention to whatever is active, outgoing, and positive, especially as it relates to increasing your sources of income. Advance quickly. SIDESTEP skimming the surface of vital information.

GEMINI May 21-June 20

The 1st House: At the Center of the Stage. It’s your favorite place to be, as the New Moon (new beginnings) occurs in your first house of efforts and endeavors. Right now, you can convince anybody, and everybody, of the validity of your ideas. SIDESTEP evasiveness – about everything.

CANCER June 21-July 22

The 12th House: Confidential Matters and Secret Strategy-Planning Sessions. The behind-the-scenes work that you accomplish now is sound and reliable. True to form, you have all your facts and research figures lined up in perfect order. SIDESTEP hostility, on a grand scale.

LEO July 23-August 22

The 11th House: Getting-What-You-Want. This is one area that you take very seriously. For that reason, be certain to list all your goals with care and precision. Although laughter may fill the air, your personal pursuits are now quite important. SIDESTEP the absence of your high energy.

VIRGO August 23-September 22

The 10th House: Your Career, its Gain, and its Advancement. Even though dynamic, even dramatic, ideas come to mind, stay on the straight and narrow. Means focus on what is at hand – and develop those fine ideas thoroughly. SIDESTEP ignoring your incredible fact-finding skills.

LIBRA September 23-October 22

The 9th House: New Ideas and New Plans – near and at a distance. You now manage current developments beautifully. In fact, you’ll be amazed at how smoothly one special project goes. At no time, allow yourself to be shy or distracted. SIDESTEP being uncharacteristically anti-social.

SCORPIO October 23-November 22

The 8th House: Revitalization, on all levels – mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. The moment has come for you to make your thoughts and feelings known – but only from a fresh, bright – dare we say, sparkling – approach and point-of-view. SIDESTEP hiding out.

SAGITTARIUS November 23-December 21

The 7th House: Your Agreements and Special Arrangements; even, the sought-after Contract. Your ruling planet, Jupiter (Lady Luck), is now threaded throughout calls and meetings. Be there, and be ready to make your requirements known. SIDESTEP overlooking several key elements.

CAPRICORN December 22-January 19

The 6th House: Your Working Environment as well as your relations with co-workers and associates. You can be all things to all people – when you want to be. Now is such a time, as you cut through the worn-out procedures of the past. SIDESTEP going too fast for conditions.

AQUARIUS January 20-February 18

The 5th House: Your Close Relationships, Creativity, and Speculation – taking a chance. High excitement prevails. Take care that you do not burn the proverbial candle at both ends. One sincerely lit candle will do quite nicely. SIDESTEP a humorless take on late-breaking developments.

PISCES February 19-March 20

The 4th House: Your Base-of-Operations – where-you-live and where-you-work. A measured and loving approach is now the answer to whatever uneven conditions have existed in the recent past. Harmony, on your part, definitely saves the day. SIDESTEP being difficult to find.
