Welcome to “Starcast” – a fabulous look into what the Cosmos has in store for the 12 sun-signs. Let’s investigate our tremendous solar system, especially as it relates to September’s Virgo, the Virgin – a sun-sign that’s synonymous with cleanliness, vitality, and good health. But first, let’s be aware that the Sun (the source of all life, and one’s own personal endeavors) entered the diligent and hard-working sun-sign of Virgo last Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 7:02 p.m. (ET). And it’s still there – moving steadily forward toward the next heavenly occurrence.

And that next heavenly occurrence is the New Moon (when the Sun and the Moon are in perfect alignment within the same sun-sign – forever promising new beginnings) which occurred yesterday, Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 7:46 a.m. (ET) – in the elegant [only Virgo can be described as both hard-working and elegant] and incredibly glamorous sun-sign of Virgo, the Virgin. Noteworthy: Wherever you are on Earth, this heavenly occurrence affects you (in a very positive way), since Virgo governs one of the twelve houses within your own birth chart (a.k.a. the zodiac wheel). This is excellent, for it delivers to everyone (no matter who you are) the opportunity (possibly, more than one) to start anew in a particular area of your Life. And that’s for the 12 to 14 days that follow this New Moon in Virgo. But don’t rush; certainly, don’t spin off in every direction. Instead, focus and lovingly work with matters at hand. This is a time for solutions – clear and simple. And the answers already exist.

Look at a numerical (1 through 12) clock. That’s your birth chart; that’s also the zodiac wheel, in which each pie-shaped wedge (8 to 7 o’clock, for example) is a house – an area of activity (love, money – in every currency imaginable – work, and so on) in your day-to-day existence, one of which Virgo governs. So, this marvelous influence (the New Moon in Virgo) will sweep through the days ahead, delivering its own special essence. Here’s how the New Moon (new starts) in the wondrous Virgo, the Virgin, affects the 12 sun-signs within the 12 houses of the zodiac wheel.

ARIES March 21-April 20

Your 6th House: The Work Scene and Its Content. The current work-related plans and projects that you’ve now created reach well into 2014. Perfect! Work closely with these and realize nothing is too impossible for you to achieve. SIDESTEP whatever, and whoever, is a distraction.

TAURUS April 21-May 20

Your 5th House: Close Relationships, Creative Matters, and Speculation – taking a chance on the unknown. Glide smoothly, and quietly, through current endeavors. And remember that “detail” in everything works beautifully for you. SIDESTEP allowing negativity, in any form, to exist.

GEMINI May 21-June 20

Your 4th House: Where-You-Live and Where-You-Work. Time now to stop all activity – and do what you do best – Think! Sort through current conditions – and focus now on what’s most important to you. Then, strengthen it! SIDESTEP allowing uncertainty, in any form, to exist.

CANCER June 21-July 22

Your 3rd House: Communications. This involves your superb ability to reach out – through calls, e-mails, and text messages – when you want to. With this New Moon, you’ll find that it’s the ideal time to say exactly what you mean. SIDESTEP openly discussing confidential matters.

LEO July 23-August 22

Your 2nd House: Income, Possessions, and Lifestyle. It’s vital now to remember your extraordinary ability to turn questionable situations around – in your favor. Initiate the right calls and have important material close at hand. SIDESTEP not being your usual confident self.

VIRGO August 23-September 22

Your 1st House: Personal Efforts and Endeavors. September is always a marvelous month for you, as its New Moon marks the start of your personal New Year. And just everything falls divinely, and neatly, in place. SIDESTEP not being aware of the opportunities close by.

LIBRA September 23-October 22

Your 12th House: Private Matters and Secret Strategies. Situations – professionally and personally – abound. Stay in balance now – and focus on only one situation at a time. It’ll be more than manageable. You’ll see. SIDESTEP an uncharacteristic refusal to be totally involved.

SCORPIO October 23-November 22

Your 11th House: Your Secret Agenda. Your thoughts are now absorbed with both the desires-of-your-heart – and just how to get those desires. The key, of course, is to know which one of those desires you want the most. Then, go after that one! SIDESTEP allowing hesitation to permeate.

SAGITTARIUS November 23-December 21

Your 10th House: Career, Its Gain, and Its Advancement. About the details of your career, you’re usually quiet. Even, secretive. This month is no exception as you forge ahead in new terrain with stunning new plans! SIDESTEP hiding – when your presence and your Voice are vital.

CAPRICORN December 22-January 19

Your 9th House: New Ideas and New Projects – near and at a distance. This is destined to be a very good month, since the New Moon in Virgo always supplies the backup you need for current endeavors. Enjoy the fine points! SIDESTEP reacting too low-key for present conditions.

AQUARIUS January 20-February 18

Your 8th House: Revitalization – mental, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual. Step back and look at your immediate concerns – no matter what form they take. Okay. Now realize that they can be resolved in order of importance, as defined by you. So, do it! SIDESTEP stopping.

PISCES February 19-March 20

Your 7th House: Agreements and Special Arrangements; the desired Contract. The time has arrived for you to decide what you want – and what you do not want. Others may not take you seriously. But this month, the power is yours. Use it! SIDESTEP not following through.
