Fernwood's Spring Garden Symposium has a strong line-up of food growers and authors set for March 23rd including Bill Shores, Garden Manager for Chicago's most televised Chef Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill, Topolobampo, Xoco), who will talk about “ Designing Edible and Ornamental Small Space Gardens.”
Other luminaries scheduled for the day-long workshop include 'Just Food with Krista Bailey, who is the Assistant Director of Indiana University South Bend's Center for a Sustainable Future; The Art of Growing Food with Ellen Ecker Ogden, co-founder of the Cook's Garden seed catalog and Thomas Jefferson's Revolutionary Garden with Peter Hatch, Past Director of Thomas Jefferson's estate, Monticello.
