Terra Cotta Adornment Sculpture of Amused Child Cradling a Rabbit while Stacking Building Blocks from Oliver P. Morton School in Hammond-1936

In a collaboration that included Chicago architect George Grant Elmslie, artis Alfonso Iannelli created this terra cotta sculptureĀ of an amused child cradling a rabbit while stacking building blocks for the Oliver P. Morton Elementary School in Hammond in 1936. This block adornment was located above a kindergarten play area.
