The Soy Generation: Home Grown Independence Clean - Green - Safe

DATE: July 28, 2011

TIME: 8:30am - 12:00pm (noon)

LOCATION: Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Portage Lakefront Riverwalk

The purpose of this free event to learn about clean, green, safe, SOY products. After a continental breakfast an IN Dunes National Lakeshore Park, a Ranger will give a presentation on the park's firsthand experience using soy bio-based products. In addition, two local green builders that regularly use and endorse soy products, will also share their experiences. The event will also feature many Midwestern companies that make and sell soy products and will have a number of green and soy surprises.

Driving Directions to IN Dunes National Lakeshore Park:

From I-94 or I-80, exit at SR 249 north to U.S. Hwy. 12 west and go over the bridge. At the stop sign at the north end of the bridge, turn left over the Burns Harbor Waterway. At the next stop sign, turn right and continue to follow the Portage Lakefront signage.

(The Event will be held in the park's Gold LEED building.)

 

The Compelling Case for Natural Gas Vehicles (NGVs) Workshop

TIME: 8:15am - 4:30pm

LOCATION: We Energies Corporate Training Center Public Service Building (231 W. Michigan St., Milwaukee, WI 53203)

This event is an educational workshop for public and private fleet operators and clean air/transportation policy makers.

Registration: $50 until Aug. 1, $60 after Aug.1 - includes continental breakfast, refreshment breaks, lunch, course materials, and a site visit to a CNG facility.
