Tomorrow night at the Box Factory for the Arts, the supermodels and emerging designers show their winning ensembles from Fashion on the Shore and coming up next weekend Bob Swam presents La Boheme in New Buffalo.

Fashion on the Shore Redux Tomorrow Night in St. Joe: The last event in a series for the Shore showcase of emerging designers opens on Friday night at 5:30 (ET) at the Box Factory for the Arts in St. Joseph, Michigan. Especially if you have never experienced an exhibition or event in this unique space this is a terrific excuse to join the festivities. Shore's favorite supermodels Varsha Shivakumar, cover girl in 2012 and this year's star Kylie Dittman are both scheduled to make an appearance in addition to our fabulous panel of judges including Vicky Cook, Anna Russo Seiber, Shatar and Angela Wolf. Robin Van Dyke our learned MC can hopefully make it to the reception as well as our partners and friends Southwestern Michigan Tourist Council Executive Director Millicent Huminsky, Amy Zapal of the Heritage Museum and Cultural Center and of course the HarborTown Interiors design team including Kerry, Stephanie and MaryKay. We also have had plenty of help along the way from Reva Salon, photographer Jennifer Mayo and program manager Dani Lane. The Bistro on the Boulevard will provide the delicious appetizers we've been craving for weeks---locally-sourced in the midst of high season---and a great selection of Michigan wine. Shore team members Katie Dorsey, Matt Sharp and Tara McElmurry will be there to welcome our guests too. Aspiring designers this is your chance to see the winners professional craftsmanship and appreciate the artistry. Hope to see you there.

Coming Up at Harbor Country Opera: Impressario Robert Swan is joining forces with the LaPorte County Symphony, New Buffalo Savings and the Pokagon Fund to produce Giacomo Puccini's La Boheme next Saturday at the New Buffalo Performing Arts Center 1112 East Clay St. Tickets are $25 if purchased in advance at www.harborcountryopera.org and $30 at the door. More info is available at 269-231-0027.
