The Valparaiso campus of Ivy Tech will be hosting a Disney Institute leadership program on Sept. 26.

The event, “Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence,” is open to any businesses or individuals who want to do more to improve their leadership techniques.

Ivy Tech is currently the only school in the area licensed to offer Disney Institute programs, said Karen Orosz, director of Corporate College at Ivy Tech.

The program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. The cost is $399 per person or $299 per person for groups of 20 or more.

Participants will learn how to adapt Disney leadership strategies into their own organizations, as well as develop and implement their own leadership visions and plans.

Disney Institute is the professional development arm of The Walt Disney Company. Built on the global success of Disney, the solutions engage organizations in time-tested best practices, sound methodologies and real life business lessons that facilitate corporate culture change.

“Corporate College is committed to providing businesses with state-of-the-art programs that can help them improve the talent within their organizations,” Orosz said. “Disney Institute offers high quality training with proven results.”
