NIRPC committee pushing EPA for radiation study in The Pines

Larry Jensen of The Pines, a retired radiation expert with the U.S. EPA, used an instrument seen here to measure natural radiation background in the town in an effort to determine if radiation levels there may exceed natural levels. Jensen and others are concerned fly ash used as fill could cause dangerous radiation levels in town.
