2017 Letters to the editor stock

They should initiate a law banning all employers from checking your Facebook page before hiring you. If you write anything at all about religion and politics on your Facebook page, they simply won't hire you. This is America, and everyone has a right to express themselves in any way they see fit.

What you write on your Facebook page has absolutely nothing at all to do with how you perform the job in question. What these prospective employers are doing is a total invasion of privacy. And it must be put to an abrupt stop effective immediately.
