2017 Letters to the editor stock

All the sportswriters I read are calling for Bears head coach John Fox to be fired.

One might think these sportswriters would remember that for the first two years, Fox was forced to use Jay Cutler as his quarterback. In his third year, he is playing a rookie QB for part of a season. Not only that, his defense is marred with injuries.

I vote that the McCaskey family give Fox one more year. Keep the coordinators, get a kicker and call it a day. I think this is better than starting all over again. The bottom line is Chicago hasn't had a winning season since Lovie Smith — who was fired with a 10-6 record! If anyone should be fired, it should be the ownership.
