2017 Letters to the editor stock

President Donald Trump was on TV explaining how dangerous these sanctuary cities are, and he is absolutely right.

Too many violent criminals are allowed to go free because of Democrats and liberals ignoring the law. President Trump is trying to fix it, but the liberal cities are ignoring him. This is dangerous and scary.

I was glad to learn Congressman Todd Rokita, a Munster native, has a bill to address these sanctuary cities. He says he wants to put these liberal politicians in jail if they ignore President Trump and continue to have sanctuary cities.

This is exactly what needs to be done. If they are going to let criminals walk free, why should we let the politicians doing that go free as well? They need to be held responsible.
