2017 Letters to the editor stock

A bike? A toy? A game? World peace?

If you're a parent of minor children, we want to read and publish your young ones' letters to Santa.

Whether it's a Christmas wish list or pressing questions your kiddos have for the big man in red himself, please submit your children's letters to Santa as letters to the editor to The Times. Include any original artwork, such as crayon or marker drawings, the youngsters would like to share with St. Nick.

We'll share the letters with Santa and publish them in an upcoming Times Sunday Forum section.

Letters to Santa must be 150 words or less and contain the first name and city/town of residence of the child. Also include the name of a supervising parent or guardian and a number where we can contact the adults to verify the letters.

Letters should be sent via email to letters@nwi.com. Any artwork for Santa can be included as a .jpg attachment.

Letters and art work also can be mailed to The Times, c/o Letters to Editor, 601 45th Ave., Munster, IN 46321.

The deadline for receipt of Letters to Santa is Dec. 18.
