"Chicago man sentenced to 30 months for gun trafficking."

This recent article caught my attention because of the leniency of the sentence. This person purchased more than 25 guns with the intention of selling them to other criminals and only received a 30-month sentence.

He broke existing gun laws. The article states he received a longer sentence because at least eight of the firearms were discovered in the hands of convicted felons. A longer sentence? Really? How about 10 or 20 years?

This is the exact problem law-abiding people complain about when they say punish the criminals and enforce the existing gun laws before you start making more laws that limit the rights of honest citizens.
