U.S. 30 is one of our Region, state and nation's most important traffic thoroughfares.

In Northwest Indiana, the stretch of highway has evolved into more than just an east-west traffic artery. U.S. 30 also stands as one of our most important business districts and a linking interchange with major interstates.

Now, state and Region transportation planners are discussing ways to enhance traffic flow, reduce accidents and make the highway more accessible to pedestrians and bikes.
