Inspired by the sandwich introduced over 70 years ago by the comic strip character Dagwood Bumstead of the “Blondie” comic strip. Dagwood’s is the brain child of Dean Young, the creator of the comic strip, “Blondie.”
Our shoppes feature toasted subs, hot pressed and fresh deli sandwiches, with top of the line meats and cheeses, freshly sliced in our shoppes, along with fresh bread that is never frozen!
We also feature fresh salads and wraps, different soups daily, kid’s meals and Dagwood’s Zesty Pepper chips by Zapps Potato Chips, made just for Dagwood’s and don’t forget the sandwich that put us on the map, The Dagwood, a pound and a half deli sandwich on fresh deli bread with freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses.
