Strode saw a unique opportunity to bring the historic Miller Bakery back to life when it fell into foreclosure. "This is a labor of love for us," said Strode. "My family has generational ties to the South Shore. This business is an opportunity to provide a beautiful dining experience in the historic Miller Bakery.

Meet Owner/General Manager Jack Strode

Jack has worked in restaurants his entire career, and began managing iconic Chicago eateries such as Smith & Wollensky, Rosebud Prime and The Cheesecake Factory in 2001. His vision is to provide a total dining experience that is fun, delicious and filled with warm, friendly service in an atmosphere of casual elegance and artistic design. Jack and his family have generational ties to the Miller Beach and Northwest Indiana area, and recently relocated to Miller Beach from Chicago.
