ROLLA, MO | Kate Runyan, of Crown Point, a senior in engineering management, will compete for the title of 2012 Homecoming Queen at Missouri University of Science and Technology. She was nominated by Sigma Phi Epsilon.
The winner is chosen after interviews and a campuswide election held prior to Homecoming, which is Oct. 12-13.
The queen and king, as well as runners-up, will be announced during halftime ceremonies of the Missouri S&T Homecoming football game. The game, which features Missouri S&T and William Jewell College, starts at 1 p.m. Oct. 13.
