EAST CHICAGO | East Chicago Central High School hosted the 25th annual National Honor Society induction ceremony on May 26

A total of 18 of the school's best students were awarded membership into the local chapter by excelling academically and earning a grade point average of 3.0 and above.

NHS honors students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. It's an honor to earn this membership and recognition, and requires hard work and dedication in school and out of school.

The prestigious ceremony showcased talents of other students in the school by including song and dance performances from various students and groups.
