Valpo residents graduate from Hanover College

HANOVER, Ind. | The following local residents were among 171 students who received the bachelor of arts degree during Hanover College's 178th annual commencement ceremony held May 28 at The Point on the college's campus.

* Valparaiso resident Mary Ruble, an elementary education major, who is the daughter of Bert and Kathy Ruble, of Valparaiso. Before attending Hanover, she graduated from La Lumiere School.

* Valparaiso resident Robert Almus, a physics major, who is the son of Dallas and Pamela Smith, of Valparaiso. Before attending Hanover, he graduated from Valparaiso High School.
