Correction
Story contained errors: A story in some Saturday editions about St. John's 175th anniversary contained several errors. St. John Elevator burned years ago, Pierce Iron Works is no longer in St. John, and Lake Hills Country Club is now an upscale subdivision. The Times regrets the errors.

Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo Cows in Farm Area
Cows, a history symbol in Chicago because of "the Great Fire," are prized mascots at Lincoln Park Zoo in the farm display area and will be center stage Tuesday, July 24, 2012, for a 175th Anniversary Tribute to the Windy City at the zoo using the theme "Chi-Cow-Go."
