Cars clog the intersection of Calumet Avenue and 45th Street in Munster on Tuesday evening. Beginning to end the traffic gridlock on Calumet Avenue at the Canadian National railroad tracks is still three or four years away.

Cars turn left onto 45th Street while southbound vehicles turn right onto Calumet Avenue off 45th Street from the west.
