Ford has come up with a new Lightweight Concept car that makes greater use of aluminum and other alternative metals, but company officials say the automaker isn't giving up on steel.
Automakers are putting their vehicles on crash diets to prepare for tough new federal rules that demand twice as much fuel-efficiency by 2025.
So the auto industry is going to use aluminum to make autos lighter to increase gas mileage. That sounds like some things the government would do, like raise the taxes to help the people.
